Die besten Cricketspielerinnen der Welt treffen sich diesen Mai in Dubai beim SDG Fairbreak Invitational 2022, einem vom ICC organisierten Turnier in Zusammenarbeit mit Hong Kong Cricket.
Unsere eigene Anu Doddaballapur und Tina Gough werden die Farben von Team Spirit bzw. The Falcons tragen. Unter der Leitung von Bismah Maroof, der aktuellen pakistanischen Kapitänin, und Suzie Bates, der neuseeländischen Allzeitgröße, wurden unsere Golden Eagles professionell unter Vertrag genommen, um neben 40 Spielerinnen aus Vollmitgliedsländern anzutreten.
An den Spielen im Dubai International Cricket Stadium nehmen 35 Länder teil, insgesamt 19 Spiele in etwas mehr als vierzehn Tagen. Die FairBreak Organisation wurde im 2013 mit dem Ziel gegründet, die Gleichstellung der Geschlechter durch Sport zu fördern, findet vom 1. bis 15. Mai 2022 statt und ist das erste seiner Art.
Wir fühlen uns sehr geehrt, dass wir uns zwei Plätze als assoziiertes Mitglied gesichert haben und wünschen unserem Kapitän und Vizekapitän alles Gute! Two of our Golden Eagles professionally contracted to play in ICC sanctioned – SDG FairBreak Invitational 2022
The world’s best cricketers will meet this May in Dubai at the SDG Fairbreak Invitational 2022, an ICC sanctioned tournament in partnership with Hong Kong Cricket.
Our very own Anu Doddaballapur and Tina Gough will don the colours of Team Spirit & The Falcons, respectively. Under the guidance of Bismah Maroof, current Pakistan captain and Suzie Bates, all-time great from New Zealand, our Golden Eagles have been professionally contracted to take the stage alongside 40 players from Full-Member countries.
The matches at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium will have 35 countries participating, with a total of 19 matches in just over a fortnight. Founded in early 2013 with the aim of promoting gender equality through sport, the first of its kind Fairbreak Invitational is all set to take place from the 1st to 15th of May 2022.
