One of German cricket’s fastest-growing traditions, the Indoor Dresden Cup tournament, is looking for final team entries. So, if you want to be part of this unique event, it’s time to get a team together and make get registered.
The 2nd Indoor Dresden Cup Tournament last year was a huge success surpassing the first edition with a thrilling final between Prague Cricket Club and Chemnitz Warriors taking place before a packed gallery. Last February, 14 teams took part in the tournament making it the largest ever indoor tournament in the east of Germany.
This year the organizers, Rugby Cricket Dresden e.V, look forward to continuing the tradition and aim to improve upon the previous editions of the tournament.
The event will take place on the 21st and 22nd February 2015 in Dresden. Invitations are open to clubs across Germany and Europe, but the tournament is restricted to 14 teams. The matches will take place at the gymnasium of BSZ für Gesundheit und Sozialwesen, Maxim-Gorki-Str. 4, 01127 Dresden – the location is big enough so that three games can be played simultaneously.
Accommodation can be organized at the cost of just 4 euros per person (accommodation in the sports hall). Water will be provided free of charge and every team is guaranteed at least 6 games. Participation requirements are a team with a minimum of 6 players and registration with a participation fee of 100 euros by January 10, 2015.
Teams interested in taking part should send their binding registrations to Aniruddha Mitra (firstname.lastname@example.org) or Uddipta Biswas (email@example.com) at Rugby Cricket Dresden e.V by this Saturday at the latest. For more infos, click here.
